Instant Wordpress Review
The Package
Consists of 30 plug in profit Wordpress themes with advanced
SEO titles, a flexible navigation menu, Clickbank and Adsense
ready. There are a good variety of themes which include, music,
travel, internet marketing, nutrition, technical, yoga,
weddings, gaming, ebay, cellphones, fitness, dating, celebrity
and real estate. You get instructions on how to use them a
sales page and resell rights.
My Experiences
I got this package in March of 2008 and it sat on my computer
doing nothing for a couple of months. Then as part of a
challenge I wanted to build a Wordpress blog and see if I could
get it ranked in Google quickly for it's keywords. I chose my
keywords carefully and found a decent keyphrase which had
plenty of searches every day and a fairly low amount of
competition.
I bought a domain name incorporating my keyphrase and set up
one of the super adsense wordpress templates on my reseller hosting account. Added some
content and within a few hours the blog was ranked in the
top ten of Google for it's keyphrase Yorkshire Pudding
Recipe. I then sent an article out to directories linking
back to the blog. Ten months down the line it is now ranked
second in Google and gets most of the available traffic for
that keyphrase, but it only just pays it's way with Google
Adsense and the odd ebook sale.
A bit disappointing but I haven't done anything else with the
blog and I'm sure that there is a better way to monetise it
once I find the time and inspiration.
Just after setting that blog up I was so pleased with how easy
it all was that I decided to use another of the templates on a
domain that I already possessed. I'd had a big package of
ebooks on hot-resell-rights.com but it had never made any sales
over about 8 months so I wondered if it would do better as a
blog.
I redesigned the header, something that I hadn't done on the
Yorkshire pudding blog, added a handful of related
articles from my article directory and basically forgot about
it. That is until I was checking my earnings on Google Adsense
and saw that the blog was earning a bit more every month
and by December had reached $20 a month plus the odd ebook
sale.
Not a lot I know but looking at it from my point of view most
of that was profit from something that hadn't taken me long to
do, hadn't been promoted and was only getting about 40 visitors
a day. I knew from experience that with a little work I
could increase traffic dramatically and that logically should
increase my Adsense earnings and ebook sales.
As the blog was hitting the spot with Google I knew that
regularly updated content would increase traffic so I started
to add articles from my article directory. That can be quite
time consuming and I was short on time so I decided to use a
free Wordpress article import script from BJC Computer Services. Ten minutes to
install and a few hours later the blog was getting related
articles from the Isnare article distibution
service.
All I had to do then was check the articles, delete what I
didn't want and add those that I did want to the various
categories that I'd set up. Within 2 weeks traffic has doubled
and so has my Adsense earnings. In time with more content and
promotion who knows how much the blog will make.
A couple of months back I set up a third blog using a
music template from the Instant Wordpress package. Added
articles now and again and that blog is starting to pay
it's way as far as Adsense earnings are
concerned.
What I think
Looking at the blogs I think that the Yorkshire Pudding
blog is lagging way behind in earnings but not in traffic
because I have placed the recipe freely on the blog and that is
what most of the visitors are searching for. Hot Resell Rights
attracts visitors who are looking for ways to earn money and
have money to spend on their ventures so they are clicking on
the ads.
The themes are all built using the same format with different
colours and headers. It is advised that you use your own header
design, but the ones available are quite attractive. There are
lots of free Wordpress themes available on the Internet and
many are quite fancy designs. Although I've checked lots of
those free themes out I've chosen to use the themes
in this package because I like the way that they are laid out,
they don't take the eye off the purpose of getting the ads
clicked on and I find them quick and easy to use.
I think that my mistake was not doing more with the blogs when
I set them up. There are lots of tools and guides available to
help build blog traffic and earnings, many of which I own but
haven't had the time to delve into yet. Despite that I am
pleased with the varying progress of my blogs and with the
addition of the article import script to all 3 now their
progress should be interesting in coming
months.
I like this package and would use it again in the
future.
